Academic Tutoring
Individualized Instruction. Meaningful Progress.
At Rize Over Run LLC, academic tutoring begins with understanding the scholar. We recognize that every learner has different strengths, academic needs, and areas that require additional attention.
Our tutoring services are available through individual and small-group sessions, allowing families to choose the learning environment that best supports their scholar.
Individual Tutoring
Individual tutoring provides focused, one-on-one instruction designed around the scholar's specific academic needs. This approach allows our educators to identify learning gaps, reteach challenging concepts, strengthen foundational skills, and provide additional practice at an appropriate pace.
Instruction is adjusted as the scholar progresses, with an emphasis on understanding concepts rather than simply completing assignments.
Small-Group Tutoring
Small-group tutoring provides a structured, supportive learning environment where scholars can strengthen academic skills alongside other learners.
Sessions incorporate guided instruction, meaningful practice, discussion, and opportunities for scholars to learn from one another while still receiving individualized attention.
Group instruction may be organized around grade level, academic subject, or similar instructional needs.
Our Academic Approach
Before developing an instructional plan, we work to understand each scholar's educational background, current performance, and academic goals.
Depending on individual needs, this process may include reviewing grades, assessment results, classroom performance, teacher feedback, and previous academic work.
We use this information to identify priority skills and develop instruction that addresses each scholar's needs.
Throughout the learning process, we emphasize:
-
Identifying and addressing academic learning gaps
-
Strengthening foundational skills
-
Developing effective problem-solving strategies
-
Supporting classroom learning and assessment preparation
-
Monitoring progress and adjusting instruction
-
Maintaining communication with families
